Venice, my Venice

While other European cities always seem to require you to enter a museum or a church, photograph a monument or eat something typical to make you feel that you're really there, Venice doesn't.

All you have to do is to take an early morning stroll just when the fishmongers are preparing their catch of the day, see the herons and kingfishers diving for breakfast, smell the salty breeze and marvel at an endless network of canals that traverse small alleys and streets, and you cannot help but feel that you're in a magical spot on the planet.
