About 10 days from now, the city of Valladolid will hold the fiesta for its principal patroness, la Nuestra Señora de San Lorenzo. The fiesta is observed on September 8, coinciding with the celebration of the nativity of the Virgin Mary according to the Catholic calendar.
The city has two fiestas, the first one being the May 13 feast of San Pedro Regalado, a native of Valladolid. Here's how it was done this year: minstrels, harlequins and a medieval fair.
