IN PHOTOS: Athens, Greece

In this second entry under In Photos, I am delighted to post five pictures that for me best represent Athens, the capital city of Greece. Even back when I was a kid, I have been mesmerized by the Greek culture, as I have always been fascinated with the myths. But when I came face-to-face with the colossal landmarks that dot the Athenian skyline, my fascination was converted to adoration.

It's a pity, the renovation of the
Parthenon is not yet finished. It would have been beautiful without cranes and debris!!!

I think the conservation work is a perpetual commitment when it comes to the Parthenon. It's just that I went to Greece in a lean month, so the Tourism Board didn't take out the cranes. Thanks for visiting!

Maraki, como ya bien sabes tú, escribir de Atenas no me supone ningún problema con lo bonito que es!
