W.A.M. joins Earth Hour 2008

It's getting hotter everyday and we all know that sooner or later everything in the planet may be lost forever. Hence, today, Saturday, March 29, a worldwide initiative called "Earth Hour" would be held from 0900 to 1000 GMT (8PM to 9PM Manila, 1PM to 2PM Madrid). Everyone is asked to put off all the lights for one hour as a move to raise awareness about the facts of climate change and global warming. The one hour we would all save would hopefully make a tremendous impact not only on promoting the cause of conservation but also prove that such a small sacrifice could amount into something big.

Cities officially involved in "Earth Hour" include Aalborg, Aarhus, Adelaide, Atlanta, Bangkok, Brisbane, Canberra, Chicago, Christchurch, Copenhagen, Darwin, Dublin, Hobart, Manila, Melbourne, Montreal, Odense, Ottawa, Perth, Phoenix, San Francisco, Suva, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Toronto and Vancouver, although friends from Spain, Italy and the world over can very well lend a hand and make their presence felt.

Let's save our planet!
