I'm getting word that King of Pop Michael Jackson has died today due to cardiac arrest. While the reports are still hasty and unconfirmed, and the details a bit blurry as I write this entry, I hope that MJ finds rest after a life intensely lived, a life of ups and downs, or controversies and lost loves, and, most especially, of great music that has characterized an entire generation and the many that would come afterwards.
UPDATE: We also remember in this entry the American actress Farrah Fawcett, who died hours before Michael Jackson did.
