Once upon a time, in a village called Silos

Have you ever wondered if places in fairy tales truly existed? I mean, have you ever asked yourself if, say, a quiet and secluded farming village where everyone knows everyone could be found in the planet?

Silos, in the outskirts of the city of Burgos, Spain, is one of those places. I really did expect Belle from Beauty and the Beast to leap out from one of the houses, singing "Bonjour..." (which would be an anachronism in this place), or Cinderella, to go out on market day to scout for fresh produce.
