This is the Arlanzón River in the city of Burgos, in Castile and Leon, Spain. One fine morning, when I was too tired to continue my longish walk from the Cartuja de Miraflores to the Cathedral, I paused a bit by the river and saw how the fish tried to go against tide. Cathartic!
