Nazareno

One of the most famous religious festivals in the Philippines happened yesterday, January 9. The feast day of the Black Nazarene in Manila's arterial district of Quiapo kicked off with a mass celebrated by the Cardinal Archbishop of Manila, Gaudencio Rosales. In the afternoon, the replica of the this image of Jesus was brought out to the streets of the Philippine capital amid throngs of people clad in red shirts and waving white handkerchief.
