Dear love...

Move over, Joe D'Mango. Make way for Beatrice Portinari!

In Florence, Italy, in the Church of Santa Margherita de' Cerchi, this lady that inspired the poet Dante to create his magnum opus, is buried. Now girls who have some affairs of the heart to consult and happen to find themselves in this church can leave a love letter to Beatrice with the hopes that she could come to their aid. Letters upon letters from girls from across the planet flood the humble tomb.

The marker reads, "Beneath this altar, Folco Portinari built the family tomb on the 8th of June, 1291. Beatrice Portinari was enterred here." Love is really in the air!
